Professor Oreste Pollicino will present his book "Judicial Protection of Fundamental Rights on the Internet" (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2021) at the European Court of Human Rights on May 30, 2022. The event will take place as part of the ECtHR’s ‘Group on Public International Law,’ founded in 2016, which, among other things, is concerned with the dissemination of valuable insights into the development of international human rights law. Before him, the following prominent scholars have already had the honor of presenting their works: Hélène Ruiz Fabri, Anne Peters, Yves Daudet, Philip Alston, Gerard Neuman, Horatia Muir Watt, Marcelo Cohen, Christine Chanet, Jan Klabers and Joseph Weiler.

Il Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino presenterà il proprio libro "Judicial Protection of Fundamental Rights on the Internet" (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2021) dinanzi la Corte Europea dei Diritti Umani, il giorno 30 maggio 2022. L’evento avverrà in seno al ‘Group on Public International Law’ della Corte EDU, fondato nel 2016, che, tra le altre cose, si occupa della diffusione di preziosi spunti di riflessione sullo sviluppo del diritto internazionale dei diritti umani. Prima di lui, hanno già avuto l’onore di presentare i propri scritti le seguenti personalità del mondo accademico: Hélène Ruiz Fabri, Anne Peters, Yves Daudet, Philip Alston, Gerard Neuman, Horatia Muir Watt, Marcelo Cohen, Christine Chanet, Jan Klabers and Joseph Weiler.

Oreste Pollicino prenderà parte alla Conferenza “Freedom of Expression in the digital ecosystem: From the “Wild Web” to a European Lex Informatica” organizzata dal Centro di Studi sul Parlamento (CESP) dell’Università LUISS di Roma, assieme al Centro di ricerca Re:Constitution, al Forum Transregionale Studien, e all’Università di Copenhagen. Il Professore introdurrà il primo panel della giornata del 16 maggio dedicato al tema “Digital constitutional challenges in a changing global order”.

Il Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino parteciperà in qualità di relatore e moderatore al seminario “La liberté d’expression des magistrats et ses évolutions récentes sur les réseaux sociaux” organizzato dalla Scuola Nazionale di Magistratura in Francia, in data 12 e 13 maggio a Issy-les-Moulineaux. Il Professor Pollicino, assieme al Dott. Pierpaolo Gori, Giudice della Suprema Corte di Cassazione, e all’Avv. Generale della Corte di Cassazione francese, Annabelle Philippe, esaminerà le questioni relative alla libertà di espressione dei giudici in relazione diretta con le loro attività professionali.

Prof. Oreste Pollicino will participate as speaker and moderator at the seminar “La liberté d’expression des magistrates et ses évolutions récentes sur les réseaux sociaux” organized by the National School of Magistracy in France, on May 12 and 13 in Issy-les-Moulineaux. Professor Pollicino, together with Dr. Pierpaolo Gori, Judge of the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation, and the Advocate General of the French Court of Cassation, Annabelle Philippe, will examine the main issues related with the freedom of expression of judges in direct relation with their professional activities.
