On 28 November 2022, Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino will take part in the Conference “Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the European Union. Issues of legitimation, fragmentation and unhinging of categories” organised by the University of Pisa as part of the PRIN SE.CO.R.E TECH Project “Self- and Co-regulation for Emerging Technologies: Towards a Technological Rule of Law”. The Professor will give the opening lecture in which he will discuss the issues related to the regulation of digital platforms and the repercussions in the field of digital constitutionalism. The Conference will be chaired by Prof. Elisabetta Catelani, Research Unit Coordinator, University of Pisa, and will conclude with the remarks of Prof. Andrea Simoncini, University of Florence.

In data 28 novembre 2022, il Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino prenderà parte al Convegno “Tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione (ICT) e Unione europea. Questioni di legittimazione, frammentazione e scardinamento di categorie” organizzato dall’Università di Pisa nell’ambito del Progetto PRIN SE.CO.R.E TECH “Self- and Co-regulation for Emerging Technologies: Towards a Technological Rule of Law”.
Il Professore svolgerà la relazione di apertura nella quale si soffermerà sulla regolazione delle piattaforme digitali, nonché sulle ricadute nel campo del costituzionalismo digitale. I lavori saranno presieduti dalla Prof.ssa Elisabetta Catelani, Coordinatrice Unità di ricerca dell’Università di Pisa, e si concluderanno con un intervento del Prof. Andrea Simoncini, Università di Firenze.

Il Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino si unirà alla Conferenza “Quo vadis EU Law?” che, giunta alla sua II edizione, è organizzata dal LL.M. in European Business and Social Law e da BLEST (Bocconi Lab for European Studies). Il Professore prenderà parte al panel dedicato al tema “Regulating online platforms in the EU”, moderato dal dott. Giovanni Trabucco, Università Bocconi, dal Prof. Alexandre de Streel, Università di Namur, e dalla dott.ssa Alina Trapova, Università di Nottingham.

Oreste Pollicino will join the Conference “Quo vadis EU Law?” which, now in its 2nd edition, is organised by the LL.M. in European Business and Social Law and by BLEST (Bocconi Lab for European Studies). The Professor will take part in the panel on “Regulating online platforms in the EU”, moderated by Dr. Giovanni Trabucco, Bocconi University, Prof. Alexandre de Streel, University of Namur, and Dr. Alina Trapova, University of Nottingham.
IACL General Congress
23 – 28 ottobre 2022
Il Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino prenderà parte in qualità di General Rapporteur al Congresso Mondiale dell’International Academy of Comparative Law (IACL) organizzato presso il Centro Studi di Diritto, Economia e Politica (Cedep) in Asunciòn, Paraguay. Il Professore terrà il suo report su “Freedom of speech and regulation of fake news” nell’ambito della sessione su “Human Rights” che è presieduta dal Prof. Eric Heinze, Queen Mary University, London.
